Choose Trackers After School
Trackers After School program offers students the opportunity to get outside each day. Kids come together with friends to choose the Trackers Skills they want to explore. They learn outdoor skills and leadership with expert Trackers Guides.
Adventure... Every Day
Activities at Trackers After School are unparalleled. Nowhere else can you find the choices Trackers offers. Options include:
Nature Arts: Folk Crafts, Natural Cordage, Woodcarving
Movement: Foam Archery, Martial Arts, Kids Yoga
Outdoor Skills: Shelter building, Campfire Cooking, Nature Exploration
Role-Playing Games: Tabletop, Theatre, LARPing
Our Team
Our mentoring team includes our top Trackers staff, featuring:
- Expertise in mentoring and Trackers skills.
- Low student-to-guide ratio facilitating personal, team-based learning.
- Background checked with First Aid & CPR certification.
- Trained in outdoor safety and the Trackers Earth curriculum.
Our Places
Our After School programs are conveniently located at Big Finn Hill Park in Kirkland, WA. Every Wednesday, students walk from school to explore the outdoors spaces or enjoy activities under the picnic shelter and fire grill.
Transportation - Walking
Trackers Transport: Trackers picks up students from Henry David Thoreau Elementary School and walks them to Big Finn Hill Park for a day of activities and fun.
How It Works
Our program is offered in two 8-week terms: Fall & Spring. Check out the class dates below. We follow the Lake Washington school calendar for holiday breaks and no-school days.
Daily Schedule
Our day begins with a snack and time for students to play games, do homework, and socialize. After, they choose their enrichment activity for the day, led by our After School Mentors. The schedule is as follows:
Student Arrival: Snack, homework, supervised games & play
2:30-4:15: Enrichment activities, featuring Trackers Skills
4:15-4:30: Parent pick-up + homework time or supervised play
Tuition
Seasonal Term tuition is $335.
